JETSKI/SNORKEL/PARASAIL – Package 105

Your package includes round trip cross channel transportation from Long Beach aboard Catalina Express. Once on the Island, it’s time to check in with Island Water Charters for a Parasail ride through the skies above Avalon. Take in the breathtaking views at 600 feet above the Pacific Ocean. You will be gently lifted and landed from within the boat, so you don’t get wet. If you request, the Captain may give you a cool off dunk in the ocean as part of your ride. You can ask at check in to purchase an upgrade to a higher flight or to purchase a photo package.

Next you will check in with Catalina Ocean Rafting for your hour and a quarter snorkeling trip. All your gear is provided except for a wet suit, which is $5 extra if you want one. We take you by high speed inflatable power raft to a secluded cove for some great snorkeling. The underwater gardens are alive with fish and other underwater critters. You might even encounter a friendly seal along your snorkel route. Even if you haven’t snorkeled before, we will provide you with all the instruction needed, for a good time. The only requirement is that you know how to swim. Sorry, we cannot take non swimmers snorkeling.

Get ready for some serious fun! Check in with Catalina Jet Ski to board your Sea Doo wave runner for an hour of fun. This package is priced for two persons to ride on each wave runner. The crew at the wave runner float will show you how to operate it and explain all of the rules and safety features. Everything is included, life jacket, fuel and instruction.

You can also upgrade your Catalina Express tickets to Commodores Lounge, which is the first class section on their boats.  You will receive pre boarding, reclining leather trimmed seats, snack and a cocktail or drink.  Why not cruise to the Island and back first class!

What to bring and wear:

Wear your bathing suit with a set of clothes over it; towel; sunscreen; soft soled shoes, sandals, or flip flops; sweatshirt or jacket, and spending money (gratuities for activity crews are not included in package).

• 8:00 AM – Check in at Catalina Express, Downtown Long Beach Terminal (note 1)
• 8:30 AM – Depart for Catalina Island (note 1)
• 9:45 AM – Arrive Catalina Island (note 1)
• 9:45 AM – 11:15 AM – open time
• 11:15 AM – Check in with Island Water Charters Parasailing
• 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Parasailing
• 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Open time for lunch/shopping
• 2:00 PM – Check in at Catalina Ocean Rafting
• 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM – Snorkeling Trip
• 4:30 PM – Check in with Catalina Jet Ski
• 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM –Jet Ski
• 7:15 PM – Check in at Catalina Express (note 2)
• 7:30 PM – Depart from Avalon to Long Beach aboard Catalina Express (note 2)
• 8:45 PM – Arrive Long Beach (note 2)

(Note 1) This schedule is for Saturday & Sunday from 9/06/2011 through 10/25/2011. Weekday passengers must take the 6:15 AM boat (5:45 AM check in).

(Note 2) From 9/06/2011 through 10/25/2011 your return boat will leave at 7:30 PM (check in at 7:00 PM) Except on Fridays when departure is at 9:45 PM (check in at 9:15 PM)

Restrictions:

• Must know how to swim for snorkeling
• No children under 6
• Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult on wave runners
• Persons less than 150 pounds will be doubled up when parasailing
• Max. weight is 300 pounds per person
